Education & Compliance

With a greater emphasis on electronic medical record systems (EMR), documentation requirements and compliance with federal regulations is becoming increasingly demanding. However, MedAmerica is committed to educating every single one of our providers to ensure every patient encounter is accurately documented to ensure maximum returns.

Our commitment to clinician documentation education is demonstrated by the array of resources and services we offer our clients, such as on-site training sessions, conference calls, and interactive online documentation sessions. With certifications in coding and compliance, our educators are available to respond to clinicians and coding staff concerns or questions related to compliant coding and documentation practices.

Our educators conduct in person training sessions at the hospital sites and in our corporate offices several times a year. We also provide audits at the site, assessing every provider’s ability to document patient encounters correctly without adversely affecting productivity.
