Michael Harrington, Chief Executive Officer, has more than 25 years experience in healthcare, including three years with Ernst & Young and five years with InfoMed Systems, Inc. He served as the CFO for MedAmerica and as the key financial advisor to medical group clients for 12 years, prior to his promotion to CEO in January 2002. Mr. Harrington has a long record of service to the American College of Emergency Physicians as a lecturer at its management conferences and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association, and American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Harrington holds a BS in accounting from St. Mary's College and was a Certified Public Accountant.

Leslie Anglada, Chief Business Officer, joined MedAmerica in 2000 to create the new Hospitalist service line and medical group. In this role, she managed all aspects of the business, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, and operations. In 2008, Ms. Anglada was promoted to Chief Business Officer and provides strategic oversight and management of business development functions for MedAmerica and its clients. Prior to joining MedAmerica, she had 10 years of experience in hospital administration and physician practice management. Ms. Anglada earned her BA from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, and her MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. She also completed a post-graduate Fellowship in Healthcare Administration at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Jeff Baldwin, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, previously worked with Ernst & Young, before joining MedAmerica in 1990 as the internal auditor and was promoted to Controller after three years. During his tenure at MedAmerica, he has been responsible for developing financial policies and procedures, financial planning/forecasting for both MedAmerica and its medical group clients, creating the financial structure for mutually beneficial medical group mergers, and presenting financial information at HFMA's ANI Conferences. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Baldwin received his BS from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mitchell Cohen, JD, Vice President & General Counsel, has more than 20 years experience as an attorney advising health care organizations. As General Counsel, he is responsible for providing and managing legal services for MedAmerica, including governance, transactions, litigation, and compliance. Before joining MedAmerica in 2011, Mr. Cohen worked for Kaiser Permanente, serving as the Regional Liaison Counsel to Kaiser’s Colorado Region, providing advice nationally on pharmacy matters, and managing complex litigation. Mr. Cohen received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Anne Kao, MBA, Chief Digital Officer, began her career in healthcare at MedAmerica before going on to gain experience leading both technical and business teams in both software and healthcare organizations. She returned to MedAmerica in 2014 and currently leads the company's technology and digital innovation/transformation programs, with a focus on implementing Agile methods for service and product delivery. Ms. Kao received her BA in Genetics and Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and her MBA at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. 

Jen Munkner, MBA/HCM, Vice President of Talent Management, joined MedAmerica in 2000 and has worked in a variety of roles including managing MedAmerica’s Credentialing and Provider Enrollment division and overseeing the recruiting, client services, and regional support teams. As Vice President of Talent Management, Ms. Munkner's responsibilities include identifying and implementing integrated strategies to improve recruiting, developing, and retaining people to meet the needs of the growing enterprise. Ms. Munkner received her BS from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo and her MBA in Healthcare Management from University of Phoenix.

Patti Papeleux, Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for delivering high value client operational and governance services to MedAmerica customers. She has over 30 years of healthcare experience in both hospital and physician practice settings. Ms. Papeleux's areas of expertise are governance, risk/insurance, and healthcare operations. Her team includes a consulting team of diverse healthcare experts. She was instrumental in the development of MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group, a professional liability company. Prior to joining MedAmerica, Ms. Papeleux was a risk manager for University of California Davis Medical Center. She holds a BA in chemistry from Colorado College and is masters prepared in business from California State University - Sacramento.

Dipti Patel-Misra, PhD, MBA, Chief Data & Analytics Officer, leads the data analytics team with more than 15 years of success in designing and implementing data and analytics strategies for business growth in healthcare. She specializes in simplifying complex issues to drive enterprise strategic objectives and is passionate about impacting healthcare outcomes and empowering leaders to engage and change the healthcare landscape. Dipti is the chairperson of the Health Informatics Board at UNC Charlotte, and is leading the effort to build an innovation lab (an industry-academia partnership).  She also teaches Health Informatics as an adjunct faculty at UNC Charlotte. Dipti earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. She has her professional coach certification from the International Coach Federation.
